Ingredients:
Rib-eye, tenderloin, or any other good cut of meat

Directions:
Directions:

Preheat oven to 450°. Season steak with salt and pepper and/or any other seasonings desired. Sprinkle salt (this seals in the juices) on an oven-proof pan and place on the stovetop on medium-high until hot.
Place the steak in the hot skillet and cook one side on the stovetop. (A 2-inch steak would cook for 5 minutes.) Cooking time should be adjusted according to the thickness of the steak.
Turn the steak over, and in the same pan, place in the oven for the same amount of time. Let steak stand for a few minutes before serving.
