Pitted dates
Bacon
Asiago Cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Slice Asiago cheese into sticks (1/4 inch wide and long enough to fit into the date the hole where pit was). Put cheese inside date. Depending on the length of bacon cut slice in half or thirds. Need enough bacon to wrap around the date. Place wrapped date, sealed side down, on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook until bacon is browned, about 20 minutes. If the bacon looks like it is not quite done, it usually is done. The bacon can overcook easily. As a appetizer for 6 people, I usually wrap 25 to 30 dates.
