2 cups Sugar
1 cup Butter
2 Eggs
1/4 cup Milk
1 t. Vanilla
1 t. Baking Soda
1 t. Baking Powder
3 1/2 cups Flour

Raisin Filling:
1 3/4 cups Raisins
3/4 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 t. Vanilla
Pinch of Nutmeg
Pinch of Salt
2 T. Cornstarch

Directions:

Cookie dough:
1. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, together and set aside.

2. Cream sugar and butter, add eggs, milk, and vanilla.

3. Add dry ingredients. (You may need to add up to 4 cups of flour to get workable dough)

4. Chill dough.

5. Roll chilled dough out on floured surface to desired thickness. Cut with round cookie cutter.

6. Place cookies on sprayed baking sheet.

7. Add a small amount of raisin filling to each cookie. (Do Not Over Fill) Top with remaining cookies. Seal the edges.

8. Bake at 350° until lightly brown.

Raisin Filling:
1. Boil raisins in water for 5-10 minutes.

2. Add sugar and vanilla, stir.

3. Combine dry ingredients and slowly stir into boiling raisins. Stir and cook until thickened. COOL before placing between layers of cookie dough
