6 medium potatoes
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Pare potatoes and slice thin.

Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour. Slowly add milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

Put half the potatoes in greased casserole. Cover with half the sauce, seasonings, and onion. Add remaining potatoes, seasoning, and onion. Top with remaining sauce.

Cover and bake about 1 hour. Uncover and bake until top is browned.
