3 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
8 tbsp. (1 stick) cold unsalted butter
1 c. cheddar cheese, finely shredded
1/3 c. fresh chives, chopped
6 bacon slices, fried until crisp and finely chopped
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal. Add cheese, chives and bacon; stir until evenly distributed. Add milk; stir until just combined. Divide batter into single-biscuit size. Spray cookie sheet or muffin pans. Bank in preheated 400º oven on rack in lower third of oven for 30 minutes or until golden and toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
