4 slices bacon
1 medium onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1 lb. medium shrimp (peeled)
1 ( 16-oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/3 c. celery

Directions:
Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 2 T. drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon, and set aside. Saute' onion in drippings until tender. Add bacon and remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 40 to 45 minutes, add shrimp, cook until pink. Yield: 4 servings
