2 cups sifted enriched flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup melted butter
1 slightly beaten egg
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425ºF.

Mix and sift flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

Mix butter, egg, and buttermilk together. Stir into dry ingredients, mixing just enough to moisten. Fold in the blueberries.

Fill greased muffin pan 2/3 full. Bake 25 minutes. Makes 12 medium muffins.

Grandma recommends baking these in one 8" pan instead of a muffin tin. She also encourages you to top with a strudel topping (1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 c. butter).
