Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup popcorn kernels (I use a mix of white and yellow popcorn)
1-2 Tbs Orville Redenbacher's Popcorn Oil
Popcorn Salt (any brand- popcorn salt is extra fine, and some have butter flavoring, which is yummy)

Optional: Cinnamon Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pop popcorn kernels in air popper. Pop into large bowl with a lid (like a big plastic mixing bowl that has a lid).

2. Drizzle popcorn oil over popcorn. Put lid on bowl (loosely is fine) and SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE. If there's too much popcorn in there, you might have to do a bit of stirring with your hands or a spoon, but unless the popcorn is pushed up against the lid, shaking works great.

3. Sprinkle popcorn salt over popcorn. Put on lid and SHAKE. Taste, adding more salt if needed. Serve.

Note: If you don't have a bowl with a lid, you can either put a cutting board or plate on top of the bowl to shake, or use a large (grocery) paper bag. The paper bag is also great if you are making even larger batches, but it will absorb some of the oil so you'll need to use more to coat the popcorn.

Variation: Decrease the salt amount slightly and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar also for a yummy, easy version of kettle corn.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The microwave in our very first apartment was a bit faulty... for example, it burned every bag of popcorn we put in it before the kernels even started to pop. So, we bought an air popper, perfected our popcorn, and haven't looked back! After a few too many fires and sparks, we told our landlord he could have his microwave back and we bought a new one. But, we've never really made microwave popcorn ever again! This is so much tastier. I also really like that it doesn't deal with hot oil (like stove popping) because Lincoln loves to stand by the popper and watch all the kernels pop and shoot into the bowl!
