1 pound beef cube steak
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (16 ounce) jar of your favorite salsa
Optional: 1 green bell pepper, sliced
Optional: 1 onion, sliced
Optional: 1/2 tsp. ground cumin

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º.
2. Place the defrosted steaks in a 9x13 inch baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the pepper and onion over the meat and pour the jar of salsa over all of it. You can add a little water if needed to cover the bottom of the baking dish. Usually, it doesn't need much, if any.
3. Cover with foil.
4. Bake at 375º for 30-40 minutes.
5. Serve with your favorite rice - we usually make Spanish rice.
