2 - 28 oz. cans peeled and crushed tomatoes
12 oz. can tomato paste
4 c. water
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
3-4 T. olive oil
1 medium diced onion
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
crushed red pepper (optional, to your taste)
4-5 country pork ribs or 1 lb. stew meat

Directions:

Heat oil in a heavy pot, add your meat and brown. Add onion and garlic, cook until transparent.

Add tomatoes, tomato paste and water. Reduce heat to medium and cook at least 3 hours. Taste if there's enough salt.

If it's too thick, add a little more water in the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Stir occasionally.

When oil has risen to the top and no bubbles remain, sauce is cooked and ready to serve.
