5 lbs. russet potatoes
1 cup sour cream
8 oz. softened cream cheese
3 T. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp garlic salt (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and quarter potatoes. Place potatoes in a large pot of lightly salted water. Bring to a boil, and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and mash with mixer. Add sour cream, cream cheese, butter, salt and pepper. Blend well. Transfer to a buttered casserole dish. Cover and cool. May be refrigerated up to 7 days. Remove from refrigerator and let sit 30 minutes and bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes or until hot. May be microwaved.
