3/4 cups sugar
31/2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup whipping cream

6 cups peeled and sliced firm peaches

Unbaked single crust 9-inch pie crust

Directions:

Set oven at 375

In a small bowl stir together sugar and tapioca then mix in the vanilla, nutmeg, and the cream. Let stand for 15 minutes until the tapioca softens.

Pour the peaches into the pie shell and pour the cream mixture over it. Bake at 375 on the lowest rack until filling is bubbly and golden brown. ( about 50 minutes)

Serve warm with some ice cream....😋😋😋
