4 small avocados
1/2 t. salt
1/8-1/4 t. crushed red pepper flakes(to taste)
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 T. diced hot jalapeno pepper rounds
2-4 T. diced onions (to taste)
juice from 1/2 of a fresh lime

1 small diced tomato-optional


Directions:

Cut the avocados in half, discard the seed, scoop out the flesh into a medium bowl.
Mash the avocados with a pastry blender until smooth.
Add the other ingredients one at a time, mashing into the avocados with the pastry blender.
Add the lime juice and mix well.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Serve with taco chips.

Select avocados that give a bit when squeezed gently, if too soft they may be brown inside, if too firm, they will not mash up.
Add additional jalapenos or red pepper flakes if more heat desired.
