Succotash

2 cups frozen corn
2 cups frozen small lima beans
Cook according to directions
Drain and set aside

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, put 3 cups milk
1 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Bring to a boil
Put ¼ cup of flour and ½ cup cold milk in a shaker.
Shake until mixed well
Add slowly to boiling milk
Turn down the heat
Stir constantly until thickens
If it is too thick, add a little milk
If it is to thin mix 1 TBSP flour with a little milk and add to mixture
If it is lumpy, strain it and add vegetables to it
If it is thick the next day add a little milk, you don’t want it runny, it should be a little thick
