2 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp gr. cloves 1/2 tsp ginger 2 tsp baking soda 3/4 c butter, melted 1 1/2 cup sugar, divided 1 egg 1/3 cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk flour, spices,and soda in a small bowl. In the bowl with a mixer, combine melted butter and 1 cup sugar and mix 30 seconds. Add egg and molasses ti mix, mix until fully combbined. Slowly mix dry into butter , mix until just combined.
Cover , refrigerate 1 hour. Pkace remaining 1/2 cup sugarinto shallow bowl.
Once chilled, scoop out 2 Tbs dough, roll into ball. Roll in the vsugar and set on parchment lined baking sheet, 12 cookies each.
Bake 10-12 minutes, Transfer to rack to cool. Repeat.
