Ingredients: Crust: 1 1/2 cup flour 2 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes 1/3 cup cold buttermilk Filling: 2 cup canned pumpkin 1/2 pkd brown sugarbb1/4 cup sugar 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1/4 tsp salt 1 1/2 cup heavy cream, cold 2 large eggd, lightly beaten 1 tsp vanilla Pecan Praline Topping: 1/2 cup pkd brown sugar 6 Tbs unsalted butter 3 Tbs heavy cream 1/4 ntsp salt 1 tsp vanilla 3/4 cup coarsly chop pecans 1/2 cuo chop fresh cranberries

Directions:1. Crust: Med bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Using fingers work in cold butter. Create a well in mix pour in cold buttermilk. Using a fork, bring dough together. Try to moisten all flour bits, adding tiny bit of buttermilk as needed. Mix is shaggy and moist not wet. 2. On lightly floured surface dump out dough. Gently knead into a disk to 1/2 ". Wrap in plastic, let rest one hour. 3. Next roll disk on floured surface to 1/2 : thick 12: around. Transfer ton pie tin;trim edges almost even with pan edge. Fold edges under, crimp with a fork. Cover w/plastic, chill at least 30 minutes up to 3 hours. 4. Place rack center oven preheat 425 degrees. 5. Filling: In med saucepan cook pumpkin,sugar, spice and salt over med heat until gently bubbling. Cook 5-7 minutes stirring. 6. Remove from heat; transfer to med bowl. Stir in heavy cream. Add eggs and vanilla; stir then whisk to combine, transfer to crust, bake 15 minutes . Reduce heat to 350 degrees, cook 40-50 minutes or pie no longer giggles in center. 7. Praline Topping: in med saucepan combine b, sugar, butter, cream, and salt over med-low; bring to simmer; cook 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, pecans, and cranberries. Let rest until pie comes out of oven. 8. Remove pie, cool 30 minutes. 9, Check to see if Praline mix is pourable. Pour over pie, Cool completely. 5. Filling: In med sauce pot, cook pumpkinsugar, spicesnand saltmover med heat until mix gently bubbles. Cook 5-7 minutes, stirring. 6. Remove from heat; transfer to med bow |
