4 oranges 2/3 cup pkd brown sugar 1/2 cup dry white wine 2 4" sprigs fresh rosemary 1 3" cinnamon stick 1/4 tsp black pepper 2 12oz bags fresh or frozen cranberries 1 1/2 cup dried tarte cherries

1. Finely shred peel from 1 orange; wrapin plastic wrap. Chill. Juice oranges (about 1 cup juice). In a med saucepan bring OJ, brown sugar, wine, rosemary, cinnamon and pepper to boiling, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and discard rosemary.
2. Add cranberries and cherries. Cook over med heat until cherries plump and cranberries pop, about 8 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 5 minutes more. Remove the cinnamon stick. Cool. Transfer to a bowl; cover and chill up to one week.
