1 Pkg (14 ounces) Kraft caramels unwrapped
1 can (5 ounces) evaporated milk
1 pkg Super moist German chocolate cake mix
2/3 cup margarine or butter melted
¾ cups chopped pecans
1 pkg (6 ounce) semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup flaked coconut

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Heat caramels and ¼ cup of the milk in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth. Keep mixture warm over low heat stirring occasionally.

Mix cake mix (dry), margarine, remaining milk and the pacans.
Spread ½ of the dough in ungreased cake pan. Bake 6 minutes, remove from oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips, coconut then drizzle caramel over top. Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over caramel layer spreading evenly.
Bake until cake portion is slightly dry to touch about 15-20 minutes.
Cool completely, refrigerate until firm.
Cut into small squares.
