5 lb roasted chicken
1 ½ c finely chopped celery
¾ to 1 c slivered, blanched almonds
Mayonnaise and salt to taste.
Dressing:
3 T sugar
1 t salt
1 t mustard
1 ½ T flour
1 egg, beaten
¾ c milk
4 T vinegar
1 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Shred or cube chicken. Combine with celery, almonds, and dressing. Add mayo and salt to taste.

Blend sugar, salt, mustard, flour, vinegar, egg and milk, and cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter and blend thoroughly.
