1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 package toffee bits (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla just until blended. In another mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to brown sugar mixture.
Stir in the chips and toffee bits, if desired. Spread into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes or until bars test done. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars.
