½ c. butter
½ c. flour
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. grated Swiss cheese
white pepper to taste
½ t. garlic powder
cayenne pepper to taste
1 c. sour cream
½ lb. sliced mushrooms, sautéed
1 can artichoke hearts, chopped
4 – 6 c cooked chicken
1 ½ c raw wild rice, cooked
¾ c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Make a white sauce w/ first three ingredients.
Add cheese, stir until melted.
Add all else but last three ingredients. (Here I add some white wine or sherry).

Spread rice into a buttered 9 x 13 pan.
Layer with chicken, then sauce.
Cover with Parmesan cheese.

Heat at 350 degrees until bubbly and hot.

Serves 8 – 10.
