1 large nappa lettuce, diced (or Romaine lettuce)
4-6 green onions, chopped
1 c. olive oil
1 c. white sugar
1/4 c. soya sauce
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 c. slivered almonds (nicest w/ brown edge)
1/2 c. sesame seeds
2 pkgs. Mr. Noodle crumbled (discard seasoning)
1/3 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine oil, sugar, soya sauce and vinegar in sauce pan. Bring to boil. Cool and store in a jar.
2. Melt butter. Combine slivered almonds, sesame seeds and crumbled noodles in bowl. Pour melted butter over. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes. Important: stir twice thoroughly during baking. Cool and store in a jar.
3. To serve, combine lettuce and green onions with some of oil mixture and some of noodle mixture about 10 minutes before the meal -- about 1/4 c. oil and 1/2 c. noodles per head of lettuce.
