4 1/2 cups Flour
2 t. Baking soda
2 t. Salt
2 cups (4 sticks) Butter (room temp.)
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 cups Brown Sugar
2 t. Vanilla
4 Eggs
2 cups Chocolate Chips
1 cups Nuts (chopped) (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 375°

2. combine flour, baking soda and salt into a small bowl, Beat butter, sugar's and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if using)

3. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

4. Bake 9-11 Minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes and move to wire racks to cool completely.
