1 small onion, chopped
2 T. butter
1 7 oz. can tuna
1 1/2 T. flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. milk
1 t. chili powder
1 c. diced, cooked carrots (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in butter. Add flour, salt, pepper and chili powder. Stir together until smooth, then add milk slowly.

Continue stirring until sauce thickens. Add carrots and tuna (optional: you can include oil from tuna, if that's your preference)

Heat thoroughly, then serve on hot biscuits or toast.

Since we couldn't eat meat on Fridays, we often had this as a main dish. It's easy to double or triple for more servings, too.
