2 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
2 cups grated carrots



Frosting

1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 T. white corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat all ingredients, except carrots, until very well mixed. Add carrots. Mix well.
Bake in 9 X 13" prepared pan @ 350º until toothpick comes out clean.

Cook frosting ingredients in saucepan for 5 minutes. Pour over hot cake. Let
stand for several hours.
