1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c Crisco
2 c flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 medium can fruit cocktail (about 2 cups) Drained and reserved
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, salt, Crisco, soda and eggs and the juice. Mix well in mixer till creamy, add fruit last. Pour in loaf pans, sprinkle 1/2 brown sugar over the cake and 1/2 c walnuts.

Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes.

This frosting can be put on cake but doesn't need it.
1 c margarine
1/2 canned milk
3/4 c sugar
1 egg yoke
vanilla

Mix margarine, milk, sugar and the egg yoke together, stir, mix well, cook for about 2 minutes after it starts to boil. cool.
