3 medium potatoes - cut into large chunks
1 sweet potato - cut into large chunks
3 cans chicken broth
1/2 cup barley
1 tsp minced garlic
fresh parsley

Simmer over medium-low heat until potatoes are tender. Approx 20 minutes.
