1 tbsp veg oil
1 med. onion, slivered
4 tbsp molasses
28 oz can of peeled tomatoes
2 tbsp chili powder
6 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp liquid smoke
3 tbsp dark brown sugar
4 cloves of crushed garlic
1 tsp Tabasco Sauce
1 c fresh orange juice
1 tbsp dry mustard
1/2 c water
2 tbsp Worchestershire
1-1/2 c ketchup
1 tbsp ground coriander
6 tbsp red wine vinegar
Cayenne pepper, to taste

Directions:
Saute onions in the oil until carmelized, add garlic during the last minute or so. Add the remaiing ingredients, bring to a slight boil, turn down heat and simmer for about 45 - 60 minutes, until nicely thickened. Blend in blender until smooth.

Serve over beef, pork chicken or sausage.

This recipe is intended to be used with the Texas BBQ brisquet I have posted. Years ago I would make this on a Sunday afternoon while chilling out with family and friends. Serve with the Texas BBQ.
