½ c unsalted butter
½ c heavy cream
2 t vanilla extract
1 c packed light brown sugar
3 - 4 c confectioners' sugar, sifted
½ t salt, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In medium-sized saucepan over medium-heat, combine butter, cream, vanilla, brown sugar, and salt, if desired. Stir occasionally until sugar melts and mixture reaches low simmer. Should take about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool for several minutes. Add 2 cups of confectioners' sugar to the bowl. Beat with electric mixer on medium-low speed until well combined. Add in another 1 to 2 cups of confectioners' sugar. Beat for 4 to 6 minutes or until thick and fluffy.
