6 cups Apples (peeled and thinly sliced)
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 cup oatmeal (quick cooking)
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Flour
1/2 cup cold Butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:

1. Mix the apples in a bowl with cinnamon, coating each piece.

2. Spray a 3 qt. slow cooker with cooking spray and place the apples in the bottom.

3.Combine the brown sugar, flour and oats in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the brown sugar mixture, using a fork to combine the ingredients until crumbles form. Add nuts if using.

4. Sprinkle nut and sugar mixture over apples and cover with lid.

5. Turn on low and cook for 3 hours or until apples are tender.

6. Spoon crisp into serving dishes and top with vanilla ice cream.
