1. bunch leaf lettuce
Few slices of onion
4. slices of bacon
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1. tbsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Wash lettuce and shake the water off. Tear lettuce into pieces.

Fry bacon until crisp. To the hot drippings add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir well.

Immediately pour dressing over lettuce and toss gently. You can crumble the bacon and sprinkle over the top or just put it in the dressing.

You may like to use more sugar depending on your likes.
