3 lbs ground beef (ground shoulder roast is good)
2 slice bread (broken or chopped finely)
2 egg
2 small vidalia onions or 2 small type sweet onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoon table salt
1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
1 cup whole milk or half-and-half
1 Tbls mustard

Sauce
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed firm (to taste)
1 cup ketchup
try adding a 1/2 tsp of hot sauce
Cook sauce till it thickens up

Directions:
Directions:
Saute at least half the onions in a little butter till browned.
Combine meat loaf ingredients and divide into two loaves.
Smooth out top then poke lots of holes 1/2 inch deep with your finger.

Combine sauce ingredients and pour on top and sides of meatloaf.
Bake uncovered at 350°F about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until done...170 degrees.

If making the whole 7 lb package from Costco, I used 4 eggs, 3 medium onions, 2 cups of milk or cream and 5 pieces of bread.

**Recipe should be"plump" from the addition of the milk or Half & Half.
