1 1/2 c. crushed candy canes
18-20 oz. almond bark (may be packaged as "white chocolate")

Directions:
Directions:
Microwave almond bark on medium for 60-90 seconds. Stir. Then microwave on high at 30 second intervals until smooth.

Add crushed peppermints and quickly spread on a cookie sheet covered with waxed paper.

Let cook and cut with knife, or break into irregular pieces.

Store in an airtight container.

This recipe comes from Missy Marsh. I bet I've made it for 25 Christmases so far, and given the recipe to many!

I usually get Starlite Peppermints and crush them in the food process or take out my frustrations with a rolling pin. I've also done this in a double-boiler, which works great and seems easier to control the temperature of the mixture.

Act FAST when the mixture is ready to spread, because it hardens quickly. Keeps for quite some time after Christmas, if there's any left!
