1 1/2 c. water
2 (15 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 16 oz. lasagna noodles
1 15 oz. container Ricotta cheese
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
2 T. plus 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Mix water with spaghetti sauce in bowl. Cover bottom of 13x9x2-inch backing dish with sauce.

Arrange a layer of uncooked noodles, slightly overlapping, on top of sauce. Spread half the ricotta and half the Mozzarella over noodles. Sprinkle with 2 T. Parmesan. Add another layer of sauce. Repeat with another layer of noodles. Pour remaining sauce over all, spreading to evenly cover edges of noodles. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. Parmesan. Cover tightly with heavy aluminum foil. Set on a cookie sheet.

Bake in 350º oven for one hour or until a knife goes easily through the pasta. Let stand, covered, on rack for 10 minutes, before serving.

For added flavor, I add in the layers 1 package of cooked, completely drained, chopped spinach.
