Dough:
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup milk
1 egg
Shortening the size of an egg
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup+ flour
Beat until stiff
Pour into baking dish

Mix:
2 cups fruit
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup hot water
1 TBSP butter
Pour over batter
