1 small egg, beaten
1.5 lbs 75%-85% ground beef (can use ground beef, lamb, or chicken)
1/2 small onion, very finely diced (or 2 Tbsp. dried onion, rehydrated)
1/2 tsp. salt (or more if you prefer salty)
1/2 Tbsp tumeric powder
A little very finely chopped parsley
A few sprinkles of black pepper
A dash of garlic powder

Beat egg in a medium size bowl. Add ground meat, onions, and spices. Mix thoroughly with hands until almost pasty, and put in refrigerator (covered) for 30 minutes if you have the time. Form into four 1 inch diameter kabobs and thread a skewer through.

Broil at 450 degrees about 10 minutes, 5 minutes on a side. Or grill on the stove at high heat, turning frequently until cooked through.

Serve with white Basmati rice and sumac powder.
