9" pie
3/4 - 1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
6-7 c. sliced apples

8" pie
1/2 - 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
4-5 c. sliced apples
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and cinnamon. Mix lightly through the apples. Heap up in pastry lined pan. Cover with top crust. Seal and flute (to seal run finger tip in water and run around rim) Make slits in the top. cover edge with aluminum foil or pie silicon edger.

Bake @ 425º for 50-60 minutes or until pie crust is slightly brown and apples are done (use fork test)
