1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup mashed bananas (3)
1 1/2 cup sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream or buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Chop nuts, mash bananas. Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and sour cream or buttermilk for 1 1/2 minutes. Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture, mashed bananas and chopped nuts. Beat about 1/2 minutes. Grease and flour 2 bread pans. Fill pans with dough and bake at 350º for 1 hour (or until done). Remove from pans and cool.
