2 ½ quarts milk
5 lemons
2 TBS. vanilla

Dissolve sugar in milk
Add vanilla and lemon
Put in ice cream freezer

Every Christmas Grandma would come and we would take turns churning the ice cream out in the garage.
Yes, it was not electric , we had to do it by hand !!!
