One day Steven, Johnny, Garry & I were playing in the creek at the bottom of the hill. We were making something & we thought we needed a hammer. So I ran home & got Dad's hammer. While we were playing we lost it in the creek. When Dad discovered his only hammer was missing he was furious. We got a licking. Now I can appreciate Dad being so upset. My toolbox is full of hammers & screwdrivers. Dad had one. Money was tight & it wouldn't be easy to replace it.~Tom
