Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 C Flour
1 C Milk
½ t Salt
1 + 3 t Sugar
1 Egg

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat 1 ½ lbs. of shortening for frying to 365 degrees.
2. Mix ingredients into a smooth batter.
3. Heat the mold by dipping it for about 15 seconds into the hot shortening.
4. Remove mold and let excess shortening drain off or blot it on a paper towel. Blotting is best when making molds to be filled as it assures a solid bottom for the shell.
5. Dip mold into the batter. We triple dip. Hold the mold level. Let the batter come not quite to the top of the mold.
6. Dip the batter coated mold into the heated shortening.
7. Fry about 45 seconds or until shell is delicately browned.
8. Remove and shells will easily drop off mold.

Yield: 5 Dozen
