2 C Flour
4 t Baking Powder
¾ t Salt
1/3 C Sugar
4 T Butter
2 T Butter
¾ C Shortening, Crisco
1 Egg
Handful Cranberries, dried

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
3. Mix well.
4. Cut in butter and shortening with a pastry cutter or two knives.
5. In a separate bowl, combine cream with beaten egg then add to dry ingredients.
6. Stir in fruit.
7. Turn dough out onto a floured surface.
8. Roll dough out and cut into biscuit size rounds or wedges.
9. Bake for 15 minutes or until brown.

Yield: 6 – 8 Servings
