Mom, Jeff, Uncle Joe, Aunt Barbara and I went on a trip in July of 1980.
I think we started out by going to Murray and Kentucky Lake.  We ended up going through Tennessee and I think Mississippi and then into Arkansas and finally Missouri.  When we were in Missouri, we went to see the tourist sites around Lake of the Ozarks.  There were billboards all over advertising a chance to fly in a helicopter to look at the lakes.  Somehow it was agreed that we could take one of the helicopter rides.  When we had paid for our tickets we walked out to where several helicopters were waiting to take us for our ride.  I have no idea what we saw, who all went, how much it cost...nothing.  What I do remember is that Uncle Joe told me to make sure we picked the helicopter that had a puddle of oil underneath it.  I asked, "Why do we want to ride in a helicopter that is leaking oil?"  Uncle Joe said, "Well at least we would know that the helicopter had SOME oil in it!"~Tim
