"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup cooked broccoli florets, chopped
1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced

Melted butter
Seasoned bread crumbs

Directions:
Using a fork, blend together the cream cheese, sour cream and cream of chicken soup. Add the chicken, vegetables and seasonings, stirring to combine. Unroll crescent roll dough onto a work surface; make 8 rectangles by placing 2 dough triangles next to each other. Pinch perforations closed. Place a large spoonful of the chicken mixture on each crescent roll, dividing the mixture evenly between them so that your rolls are uniform in size. Fold up dough over filling and pinch the sides closed around the filling forming a pillow. Dip the rolls in melted butter and then in bread crumbs. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Makes 8 chicken pillows.
