Layer 1 (Crust):
1 cube butter
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Mix butter and flour until crumbly as for pie crust. Add pecans, press into pan, and bake @ 350º for 20 minutes. Cool completely before adding Layer 2.

Layer 2:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
pinch salt
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
8 drops yellow food coloring

Layer 3:
2 (3.4oz) pkgs pistachio pudding
3 c. milk

Layer 4:
2 c Cool Whip
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
6-8 drops red food coloring

Directions:

Complete dessert layer by layer. Garnish with sliced almonds or sprinkles and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
