Ingredients:
Ingredients:
12 oz. can evaporated milk.
7 three-oz. boxes of Jello gelatin
2 orange, 2 lime, 1 lemon, 1 cherry, and 1 raspberry
--vary flavors as you become familiar with your favorites
I mix each layer in a 2-cup measuring cup.

Assemble in a 9 X 13 glass pan. It must set straight in the fridge to keep layers even.

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare clear layers using 3/4 cp boiling water, be sure Jello is dissolved, and 3/4 cup cold water. You can put ice in it to speed setting. Keep total at 3/4 cp.

For cream layers start with 1/2 cp boiling water. This takes longer for Jello to dissolve, so be careful. Add 1/2 cp cold water. Mix and add 1/2 cup evaporated milk. Again you can mix ice with the cold water to speed setting. Do not add the milk until Jello is cooled a bit.

Each layer must be set well before adding the next. Even then the stream of pouring the new layer will cut into the one below it. To prevent this unsightly damage, simply pour slowly into the 'bowl' of a spoon.
(The more you make this, the more you become inclined to not set each layer well, so the spoon becomes more important.)
I have made this in as little as 2 hours by using just ice for the cold water.

Layer in the following order:
Clear lime
Cream lime
Clear orange
Cream orange
Clear lemon
Cream cherry
Clear raspberry

Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours minimum before serving.

Personal Notes:
If you try this recipe and have any problems, please let me know so I can clarify the directions. I've heard of this being made with cream cheese. I can't even imagine how much more difficult that would be.

This was a favorite when the kids were little.
