½ cup water
½ cup dark karo
½ cup molasses
3 TBS butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 cup sugar
½ cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil to soft medium crack
Add:
2 TBS vanilla
1 level tsp baking soda

Pour over layer of black walnuts in pan lined with foil and greased
Or you can add the nuts to taffy
Stir
