4 large green bell peppers, washed and cored
1 c. rice
1/2 lb. ground beef and 1/2 lb. breakfast sausage or just 1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion, more or less
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Place peppers in dish. Mix rice, raw meat, and onion. Put some mixture into each pepper. Pour tomato sauce over the peppers. You may want to swish some water through tomato sauce can and pour that over top of the peppers also. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 50-60 minutes.

Add spices (garlic salt, pepper, etc.) to meat if desire. Can also add Worcestershire sauce or barbecue sauce to tomato sauce to play with flavor.
