3/4 lb minced beef
1/4 lb minced shoulder of pork
1 egg
1 c milk or diluted gravy
1/2 c oats
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
pinch of sage
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion

Directions:
Directions:
Mix minced beef and pork. Beat egg, add milk or gravy and blend well with meat mixture. Add oats and seasonings. Stir until smooth and thoroughly mixed. Pack in loaf tin and cover with greased paper. Bake in moderate oven 375ºF for 1 hour and 15 min.
