1 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and sliced in half
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
1/2 c. walnut pieces
1/3 c. thinly sliced pitted dates
2 Tbsp. liquid honey
2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1/4 c. green onions, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh thyme (1 tsp. dried)
1 tsp. fresh lemon zest

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix sprouts, olive oil, salt and pepper together in a 9 x 13" baking dish. Spread into a single layer and roast for 20 min., gently mixing now and then to promote even cooking.
2. Add walnuts and return pan to oven for 3 to 4 min. Transfer sprouts to serving bowl; mix in dates, honey, vinegar, onions, thyme and lemon zest and serve.
